London Claps for Food!

My baby girl is getting so big! She is now clapping, which I have been working on for awhile now, but it hasn't happened until today when she discovered clapping will get her more of her favorite "puffs!" So here she is.. clapping for food, isn't she adorable?! Enjoy. 

Well its official. My biggest vice is on its way out the door! Here's the deal. I HEART DIET COKE more than most things in this life, besides my daughter and all of the rest of you of course.. but back to my other passion.. its the one thing that wakes me up in the morning and keeps me going and calms me down on a stressful day! Well that wonderful refreshing habit is out the door! I am a very determined person and have "bet" if you will, my one and only, that I would not drink the big DC until Sept 1. wow! Here's the deal, No DC.. equals $1000 vacate and avoids the embarrassment of me having to wear teva's for two months! If you know me at all, you'll know teva's in and of itself motivated me to NEVER lose. So Mr. Dave .. here's to you and the very sad riddance of my DIET COKE passion! So I'm saying good bye to one of my favorites thing in this world.. DC you will be MISSED.... but dont worry, I'll see you again soon, just this time on an Island in Hawaii! :)

Bringing my hopes "UP!"

Krista and I went to the Disney movie UP last night and can I just say... adorable! We fell in love with it. It's about an old man who is trying to fulfill his wife's childhood dream.. and

Ok.. yes... we were crying in the first five mintues of the movie.. mind you , its a cartoon... and then again and again through out! I literally teared "UP" four different times. It reminded me of my grandma and grandpa. I know my grandpa loved my grandma like this. I want that... I want a love like Carl and Ellie... I want someone to grow old with. It truly was a great movie and one that should bring all our hopes "UP" in finding true love in this life. And for those of you who have found that person already, I hope you love them like Carl loves Ellie.

So lately, I've had an "itch" to go camping, which of course means, I would need to buy a trailer, so I can easily load up London and take her along with me.... and possibly even 3 other little ones I've been wanting to get to know a bit better as well!

Anyhow.. I'm thinking this is the one I want.. can't you just see me now?!

Easter Weekend!

London's first easter! We had a blast.. we decided to take the long trip home to Monticello for the weekend for a little easter egg hunt in Moab and good times with the family! We had a great time although the weather was FREEZIN, to say the least! But Moab turned out nice on Saturday for the most part and we were able to take in some sight seeing at Potatoe Salad with the all the jeeps, play a little football with the boys, a little golfing and an easter egg hunt at the park! London had a great time, she just wanted to eat the eggs or suck on them the whole time.. haha too cute. Here's a few photos from our fun filled easter weekend!

Okay Okay, I officially suck at this blogging on my own site.. I get it! I have been in charge of Shade's new blog http://blog.shadeclothing.com/ so it has been taking away from my time here on my own! I apologize, but good things have been happening in mine and London's life. We are happy and healthy and that s all that really matters, right?! :) However it is snowing here today on April 15th so not only is it tax day, its snowing! c mon is that supposed to be a reward on getting our taxes done on time?! I dont think so... maybe its punishment cause I didn't get my taxes done today period.

Happy New Year

Well another year has come and gone and I would have to say this has been the most life changing year of my life yet! I am so blessed to have a beautiful daughter this past year and we are looking forward to an AMAZING year in 09! The beginning of a new year is always a great time to reflect and look back and take what you learned and focus on doing better the coming year. I have so many things to be thankful for and look forward to. I would like to express my gratitude to my amazing friends and family in my life. Thank you for all you do for me and London and for sticking out this past year with us! We have met and made some new amazing friends this past year and grown amazing closer to family as well. I couldn't have done it without all of you in my life. I am sooo blessed with good friends and family and a beautiful daughter. Here's to an amazing year for all of us!

London and I had a fantastic New years, we just hung out at home with friends. Marianne and Drew, daddy, came over and it was so much fun to just be together with London hanging out and laughing. I think we started out the New Year right and just as it should be. There is nothing better than hanging out with London!

Christmas Fun!

Okay well as all of you are getting the "jist of" by now, I am not a great blogger yet! But I'm making a New's Year's Resolution to do better! Here's a small update on Christmas and New Years.

Well I have to say that Christmas with a child is soo much more fun! We had a blast with London this year and did a lot of fun things. First we took her to see Santa at the mall and got the cutest pictures of her and had a great time christmas shopping.

Then on Christmas Eve, Drew and I took her up to Temple Square to see the lights and she loved it! It was a bit cold, but she enjoyed every moment with big wide eyes looking every where we went. It was adorable.. but she did get a little runny nose after the next few days. Fortunatley that was all and I think to her.. it was worth it! Then we went out to dinner and she got to spend some time with us together and that was nice she loved it.

The next day we headed to Monticello to spend Christmas with the family and had such a great time. Ness and I were anxious to take pictures of "E" and "L" and set up our own little photoshoot! "E" is sooo adorable and loving towards his lil cousin "L" and it was so much fun taking pics with them and spending time together! Of course London got spoiled by Santa and as always by Nana and Pa! All together it was such a great Holiday Season and we couldn't have asked for more.

London's 1st Halloween!

Well looks like another Halloween has come and gone, but this year was especially fun because I had a beautiful daughter to dress up as a pumpkin and mini cupid with her mama! We had a lot of fun.. NaNa came up and we took her trick or treating! London was a cute lil pumpkin during the day and at night she was a cupid with all us girls! Holidays are a lot more fun when you have someone to share them with... especially when its the love of my life! Hope everyone had a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
